Being a physician-formulated product line, this is an opportunity for me to expand the scope of Physician-knowledge. From its beginnings in history, the
art of medicine has always encompassed
dealing with the whole human-being: addressing the heart, mind, body and
SOUL. It is time to bring back what we have forgotten from years past
and to combine it with the science & knowledge of today.
In
the end, the most important part of any product is the formula, and it
should stand on its own. I wanted to invigorate the approach to formulation, to change how people and companies view skin care. The Aroma Prescriptions line embodies the principles of simplicity, synergy, and harmony created by the balancing of ingredients, natural and synthetic. I believe any truths contributing to good skin care will stand on their own. You will soon be able to learn more about each product's formulation and ingredients under the "Dr. David's Formula" section.
As well as being a Medical Doctor, I have spent years studying Biochemistry and Biophysics, as well as conducting
laboratory research in Dermatology. This experience has allowed me to readily see
through the junk-science and empty promises.
My background work led me to every possible skin-care counter and cosmetics retailer through out New York City. What an eye-opening experience.I was misled by salespeople, company representatives, and always given 'marketing junk' packaged as "science".I left in awe, but ever more determined to change our approach to skin care.
It is disturbing to see physician-brands and companies manipulating their own grasp of knowledge & science in order to market their products. We can no longer allow the distortion of truth & knowledge. This all starts with being an example in our own lives. Provide solutions, not drama.
We
live in an age where information is abundant (mis-organized maybe, but
it's out there). As we advance, our technology will be more integrated into our lives, to help empower us, especially as consumers. Only those companies who truly empower society and
the individual will survive in the future.
